Terms of Service

By accessing or using Faction Finder, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use the service on behalf of a community, group, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have permission to do so.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Faction Finder. If a higher minimum age applies to you under local law or a linked third-party service such as Discord or Roblox, that higher age requirement applies.

You must comply with Discord, Roblox, and other third-party platform rules when using linked accounts, invite links, community listings, or imported group data.

We may suspend, restrict, or remove accounts if we believe a user is underage, unsafe, unauthorized, or using the service in a way that violates these terms or platform rules.

Faction Finder helps users discover, review, submit, and moderate Roblox community listings. Listings may include Roblox group links, Discord invite links, ratings, reviews, tags, descriptions, media, and related community details.

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including features, eligibility, listings, roles, moderation tools, or access requirements.

Some features require signing in with supported third-party providers such as Discord or Roblox. You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping your third-party accounts secure.

You are responsible for the security of linked Discord, Roblox, and email accounts and for any activity that occurs through your Faction Finder account.

You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your relationship to a community, or use accounts in a way that avoids enforcement.

We may suspend, terminate, ban, restrict, or remove access with or without notice if we believe an account is abusive, unsafe, fraudulent, unauthorized, underage, ban-evading, or in violation of these terms.

You are responsible for the group listings, reviews, reports, media, invite links, contact details, and other content you submit.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit content, represent a community, use media, and provide any Discord or Roblox links.

Submissions may be reviewed, edited for formatting or safety, approved, rejected, hidden, or removed at our discretion. We are not required to publish or keep any listing available.

Do not submit misleading claims, spam, malware, scams, adult content, hateful content, harassment, illegal content, private information, or content that violates Roblox, Discord, or other third-party rules.

If you believe content on Faction Finder infringes your copyright, you or your authorized agent may submit a DMCA takedown notice through our DMCA request form.

If your content is removed because of a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice through the same DMCA request form.

We may remove or disable access to content in response to a facially valid DMCA notice and may restrict or terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

Reviews and reports should be honest, relevant, and based on real experiences. Do not use reviews or reports to harass, retaliate, manipulate ratings, or coordinate abuse.

We may remove or restrict reviews, reports, or rating activity that we believe is fraudulent, abusive, off-topic, unsafe, or otherwise harmful to the service.

You may not harass, threaten, bully, dox, stalk, exploit, impersonate, ban evade, coordinate abuse, promote hate, or submit content that targets people based on protected characteristics.

You may not submit spam, scams, malware, phishing links, exploit tools, cheating services, illegal content, sexually explicit content, private information, or content that is unsafe for the community.

You may not interfere with the service, scrape or harvest data without permission, bypass security or access controls, probe for vulnerabilities, overload infrastructure, or use the service for spam, phishing, fraud, harassment, or automated abuse.

You may not upload or link content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates privacy rights, contains malicious code, or encourages unlawful or unsafe activity.

You may not use Faction Finder to target minors, collect sensitive information from users, or promote communities that violate applicable law or platform rules.

You may not scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, bulk export, reverse engineer, or automate access to Faction Finder without permission.

You may not bypass rate limits, access controls, authentication, security measures, or technical restrictions.

If we later offer a public API or developer integration, additional API or developer terms may apply.

Faction Finder may link to or integrate with third-party services such as Roblox, Discord, Cloudflare, Supabase, hosting providers, authentication providers, and external community sites.

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, policies, or actions. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

Faction Finder is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Roblox Corporation, Discord Inc., or their affiliates unless stated otherwise.

We use Cloudflare for site delivery, reliability, security, and analytics. Cloudflare may process technical and traffic information as part of those services.

Cloudflare analytics and logs are used to understand performance, traffic, abuse patterns, and security events. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

You keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant Faction Finder a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, modify, distribute, and use that content as needed to operate, promote, moderate, and improve the service.

We own or license the Faction Finder site, design, code, branding, logos, workflows, and other service materials, excluding user-submitted content and third-party materials.

You may not use Faction Finder branding, logos, or service materials in a way that implies endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship without permission.

We may review, edit, hide, remove, reject, or restore listings, reviews, reports, submissions, media, links, and other content at our discretion.

We may suspend, restrict, ban, or terminate users; refuse service; limit features; or preserve records when needed for safety, security, legal compliance, platform integrity, or moderation history.

Moderation decisions are not guaranteed to be immediate, complete, or error-free.

The service is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that listings are accurate, communities are safe, links remain valid, reviews are complete, or the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We do not guarantee uptime, data availability, account availability, content availability, marketplace outcomes, group quality, third-party invite availability, or the conduct of users or communities.

You are responsible for evaluating any community before joining, sharing information, spending money, or participating in activities outside Faction Finder.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faction Finder and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruptions, or third-party conduct.

This limitation applies to claims involving downtime, data loss, user disputes, content disputes, moderation decisions, security incidents, third-party services, linked Discord or Roblox accounts, and communities discovered through the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use the service in the previous three months or 100 USD.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Faction Finder and its operators from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another party's rights.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access at any time if we believe it is necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, comply with law, or operate the service.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute-related terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute that is not subject to a different required process must be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in California, unless applicable law requires another forum.

We may update these terms as the service changes. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
